SmartFinancial is a leading insurance technology company working on building tools to make the insurance shopping process better, simpler and more effective. We are looking for an experienced Director of Inside Sales to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a growing inside sales team passionate about acquiring new customers. Ideal candidates are not afraid to jump on a sales call to help close a deal. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for hiring sales producers, setting goals, and developing sales reps.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and execute growth sales strategy, and day to day sales management associated with a hunter sales team.
• Hire and develop high-performing sales professionals. 
• Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities.
• Establish sales quotas, goals and incentives for the sales team.
• Develop an upbeat, fun environment where sales reps are being developed to reach their full potential.
• Help define and build a shared sales culture for the entire organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of sales leadership.
• Experience building and managing new teams, processes and documentation.
• Very strong understanding of B2B selling into SMBs, SaaS sales experience is a plus.
• Analytical and highly metrics and process-driven.
• Strong leadership qualities.
