Director of Sales

Chorus Innovations, Inc. is a fast-growing healthcare technology company with a truly “no-code” platform that enables anyone to visually create mobile, text messaging and interactive voice apps.  Chorus’ unique and powerful platform is currently being used by doctors, researchers, patients and community stakeholders alike to power transformative healthcare, biomedical research and community improvement projects across dozens of institutions and public health agencies worldwide.

Most other “no-code” or “low-code” technology platforms primarily function as useful tools for IT staff within organizations.  But at Chorus, we approach app development in an entirely different way by empowering the individuals who are the experts at solving the problems they see to directly create their own technology solutions that are uniquely tailored to their specific needs.

Chorus is looking for a passionate and self-motivated Director of Sales who will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing our overall sales strategy.  As a key member of our executive team, the Director of Sales will work closely with Chorus management to identify sales opportunities and develop targeted approaches to leverage new and existing prospects.  Our ideal candidate will have the desire to operate and thrive in a startup environment, and will possess excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and leadership skills. We would especially prefer a candidate with experience in healthcare and/or public health/government enterprise IT sales.

What you will do…

  • Pioneer a sales function in a high growth tech environment: develop, implement, and manage Chorus’ overall sales process, forecast, and relationship strategy
  • Analyze current client relationships to identify opportunity for expansion
  • Identify and generate new customer prospects and leads
  • Seek out new verticals to penetrate based on a deep understanding of use cases for Chorus’ platform and services
  • Collaborate with technical and internal teams to build quarterly sales projections
  • Develop a deep understanding for the requirements of a healthcare technology platform, and communicate any industry advancements or needed platform improvements to the technical team
  • Draft and deliver client presentations, coordinate internal and client sales communications, and facilitate/advance contract discussions and negotiation
  • Ability to build and develop a sales team as the company grows

What you will bring…

  • We are a start-up: We will reward grit, ability to work independently, excitement for growth, passion to own your function, winning mentality, and ability to continue to learn and develop
  • 3+ years of experience owning enterprise IT, CRM, ERP or other complex SaaS/PaaS or products sales cycles
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • An eagerness to be a leader for the team as an individual contributor
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • A positive, level-headed presence
  • Extensive and established relationships and sales experience within the healthcare technology and/or university ecosystems a major plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package with medical, vision and dental insurance coverage, 401(K) and other great perks.
  • An energetic, dynamic and engaging startup company culture.
