ABOUT THE JOB
The Anduril Corporate Development mission is to grow Anduril through accretive acquisitions and strategic partnerships. The position is a fit for strategic thinkers with the interpersonal skills necessary to balance competing internal and external interests in order achieve win-win outcomes. You are the Sun Tzu of corporate development: your deals are won before they are made, flow around obstacles like water, and you ruthlessly but tactfully pass on hundreds of opportunities in order to find the one with a >10x result.
A successful candidate will have experience in high-growth companies, venture investing, and buy-side acquisitions. You will engage with C-level weekly, work directly with our senior engineers to articulate product strategies and tradeoffs, and guide outside counsel daily throughout the course of a deal.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ownership: Plan, evaluate, and execute buy-side acquisitions from sourcing through after-action, and repeat.
- Embed: Work side-by-side with product, legal, operations, and other Anduril teams — and the leadership of acquisition targets — in order to understand their challenges and shape a no-drama deal that’s a best fit for Anduril’s value proposition.
- Lead: Manage complex transactions and external service providers efficiently and precisely, to close those transactions on time and on budget.
- Team Player: No task is too small. If a pitch deck needs updating or an exec visit needs planning on short notice, you will get it done.
- Write: Draft investment memos and meeting summaries. Articulate Anduril’s complex platforms concisely.
- Engage: Participate in efforts to educate the broader set of Anduril stakeholders (investors, bankers, and defense industry leaders) on our mission and our unique approach.
