Heartbeat is looking for its next rock star to join our sales department in the Customer Success role. This role is the lynchpin of managing client relationships, client strategy, analysis of client performance (and how to improve), and growing our share of our customer's business. 

Heartbeat clients include some of the most exciting new startups in Los Angeles as well as established brands in Fashion, Beauty, Entertainment, Music, Lifestyle and more! From H&M, Netflix & Amazon, to MeUndies, TheBouqs, Soylent, & Suja - if you're a millennial then you've heard of our clientele! This role puts you at the center of commanding a fast-growing army of 180,000 female millennial ambassadors to create some of the most recognizable social media initiatives on Instagram.

Your job would be helping oversee our existing brand partnerships by managing a campaign operations associate to execute campaigns, keeping things running smoothly with clients, and upselling into current clients.

You are: 

  • Obsessed with keeping clients happy - love being the liaison between clients and the internal team 
  • Comfortable up-selling new features, & growing our portion of the marketing budget for our customers
  • Experienced with on-site visits & presentations to groups of marketing/advertising executives & managers
  • Comfortable identifying success in interpreting raw-data
  • Comfortable with the marketing mix of modern CPG & Entertainment companies. You can speak the language of the teams you'll be working with.
  • Passionate about social media & the changing landscape of micro-influencer & user-generated-content marketing/advertising
  • Passionate about coaching & helping others around you succeed
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven! You're more than happy to get down and dirty in a spreadsheet to help your clients understand how to improve their strategies/campaigns.
  • Excited about contributing positively to a fast-growing startup!
  • Motivated by commissions and bonuses, and love to motivate other people.

 Skills & Must-Haves: 

  • 3-5 years Client services or Account Management experience 
  • Understanding of marketing - you can "talk the talk" when it comes to engagement rates, reach, conversions, and marketing objectives 
  • Proven track record of growing business from existing clientele
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Google suite, ability to learn new software quickly - we're a startup, so you have to be comfortable implementing the new products we're building each month 
  • Comfortable preparing professional level presentations in Google Slides or Keynote
  • Professional demeanor and presence in person and on the phone 
  • Intermediate understanding of: Instagram, Instagram for Business, Influencer/Micro-Influencer Marketing, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp (or other email marketing software), Motivational writing.
  • Multi-tasking - you'll be working with multiple clients at once, and you'll need to be buttoned up to keep on top of them
