Responsibilities

  • Consistently reaching out to vendors to facilitate long-standing business relationships and procurement of supply.
  • Capable of taking a high volume of calls to meet business goals daily.
  • Identifying new vendors and product opportunities by conducting thorough research.
  • Executing projects with minimal guidance.
  • Creating purchase orders utilizing our ERP system Acumatica, following up on samples and lab results. 
  • Negotiate prices, MOQs, terms and lead times with local and international suppliers
  • Maintaining consistent Your Super supply inventory levels by working close together with our Demand Planner on the Material requirements. 
  • Evaluate current suppliers based on scorecards

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Must have international buying experience
  • Must have experience in the food industry
  • Comfortable negotiator and partnership builder
  • A problem solver who can always find a solution
  • Understand incoterms and be able to instruct on import logistics. 
  • Is a multi-tasker who can take on multiple challenges
  • Is proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Has a Bachelor's Degree(Preferred)
