The Role:
A Buyer is focused on one thing…helping SnackNation create a phenomenal member experience by sourcing from some of the best up and coming products on the market. You should be ready to own the first step in the supply chain and maintain incredible relationships with our brand partners, as well as communicate with regional teams to ensure strict quality and freshness standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders
- Create and develop Standard Operating Procedures for procurement and receiving nationally
- Work with field teams to receive feedback and improve systems efficiencies and member satisfaction
- Deliver a weekly purchase order report to management monitoring KPI statistics for all open/closed purchase orders
- Work with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
- Maintain proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis by setting pars using historical demand data
- Establish reliable lines of contact with regional management teams to ensure that all field purchase orders are accurate
- Originate purchase orders and communicate terms and best practices directly to vendors
- Correspond and communicate with vendors and departments regarding services and investigate complaints, secure adjustments and resolve other purchasing related problems
- Process rejected materials back to supplier within a timely manner of receipt of dispositioned MDR
- Verify accuracy of all documentation including but not limited to supplier proposals to purchase orders, file documentation, invoices and receipts, and sign purchase orders
- Prepare required paperwork for Purchase Order package, shippers, RFPs/RFQs, supplier and interdepartmental correspondence, etc.
Skills:
- Deep understanding and professional experience with Vendor and Purchasing Contracts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the G-Suite set of cloud applications
- Microsoft Excel, and Netsuite ERP (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills
- Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
