POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Business Development Representative with experience doing a high volume of calls, qualifying customers and setting appointments. This high energy individual will partner sales team revolutionize the facility management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical type, self-starter, strategic thinker, phone-killer, trailblazer and problem-solving guru. Business Development Rep is responsible for building a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects for company’s sales team so vital to the company's success.

To be successful in this role, you need to be infectiously driven to succeed, have an incredible work ethic and have the stamina discipline of a marathon runner. You should have previous inside SaaS sales experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to qualify prospects and cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until set the appointment. WHAT DOES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE DO?

BDR responsibilities include a high volume 80-100 dials daily, connecting with and qualifying prospects into leads. Business Development Rep will be combine a consistent discipline of calling, navigating gatekeepers and going to multiple points of contact to have maximum impact. You will understand prospect’s pain points and help build customer ROI story and capture all data into CRM. In this role, you will liaise with marketing and sales team to improve the entire customer sales prospecting, qualifying and appointment setting process.

If you are familiar with customer relationship management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication, are a proven and tireless quota achiever and understand consumer behavior through inside sales calling, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Business Development Rep should collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales team
  • Report to the COO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Inside SaaS sales experience is paramount
  • Facility Management software sales a MAJOR plus
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field

SALARY:

$48,000/year -$70,000 OTE
