The Duties of a Mission Cloud Advisor

As a Cloud Advisor with Mission, you will work in a rapidly growing organization, receive exceptional benefits, and earn great compensation doing what you enjoy. Daily tasks vary, but focus primarily on helping clients fuel innovation and drive the growth of their business, including: 

  • Attain daily activity metrics – outbound calls, decision-maker contacts, and leads qualification

  • Use intelligent prospecting persistence to identify, create and qualify opportunities

  • Capture, track, and advance qualified leads in Salesforce.com

  • Work with sales to ensure lead opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly defined

  • Use opportunity management processes to ensure that leads are handed off to appropriate sales resources in a timely, customer-friendly manner

  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Mission services

  • Accelerate customer adoption

  • Follow-up on lead opportunities and searches for additional revenue opportunities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, demanding environment, achieve activity-based metrics, and establish credibility with decision-makers. Additionally, our ideal candidate should also have:

  • Compelling listening, verbal, and written communication skills

  • The ability to manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the sales and marketing team

  • Experience managing numerous requests and time demands concurrently

  • Competence developing and delivering presentations explaining high-level, technical solutions to large and diverse audiences relevant to their industry or target market

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing and how this creates opportunities for customers

  • An understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Mission services

  • Knowledge to differentiate and understand various IT roles and responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships through excellent customer service skills

  • The ability to penetrate target accounts to provide access for our sales teams

  • Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales or technology-related environment

  • Demonstration of interest in developing a technology sales career

Skills for Success

The Cloud Advisor will have experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities in a focused market space. Additional experience should include:

  • Cold calling and prospecting

  • IT sales and/or technical background

  • CRM software and Outlook

  • B2B marketing tools such as HubSpot

  • Advanced Salesforce.com, including the development of dashboards and reports

  • BA/BS degree, sales certification from an accredited university, and/or relevant experience 

Previous experience with Amazon Web Services, though not required, makes you an even more ideal candidate.
