The Role

LeafLink is seeking an Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our fast growing team. This role is highly independent and will consist of the candidate being an individual contributor. The candidate will need to be a self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a very fast pace, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines.


The Advertising Sales Account Executive will be responsible for selling platform ads, sponsored emails and event sponsorships. AE will manage all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing the deal. This role will also require the AE to manage their own book of business and upsell when possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to current clients to educate them on how our ads can impact their sales
  • Reach out to current clients to educate them on our upcoming events and available sponsorships
  • Manage full process of sales cycle through closing the deal
  • Hit monthly sales goals
  • Manage phone and email correspondence with questions from clients
  • Assist with campaign set up
  • Work collaboratively with teammates on ads team, events team and other appropriate teams
  • Reporting on your KPI’s and let us know what isn’t working

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, advertising experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset: you will be expected to produce tangible results
  • Must be thorough, have high attention to detail, and be comfortable with working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Creative and out of the box thinker, and able to work on projects independently
  • Able to multitask and manage several projects concurrently
  • Strong/proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), especially in excel, Google 
  • Cannabis industry expertise a plus
