About Us:

Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money.

In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Sales Workflow & Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team and help scale our global sales organization. In this role, you'll work in our GTM Workflows Center of Excellence, partnering directly with the field to remove blockers and find leverage. You’ll flex from resolving the sales team’s day-to-day issues (incoming tickets) to identifying patterns among those tickets, designing workflows and automations, partnering with Business Technology to scope builds, and ensuring there are no gaps in our GTM delivery.

This is not a sysadmin role — you’ll have wonderful partners for that. This is a workflow admin role responsible for ensuring our sellers move as quickly as possible from point A to point B.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage our Workflows Center of Excellence — Partner with the RevOps team to further develop our centralized workflow admin practice across BizTech, RevOps, Data, and other partners to ensure rapid resolution of field questions and operational requests

  • Ensure a smooth sales workflow experience — Partner with Sales Ops, GTM Innovation, Business Technology, and AI Engineering to design and implement scalable, ergonomic tooling, automations, rules of engagement, and reporting

  • Advance our tooling — Leverage AI tools like Clay and Notion to rapidly develop signals, enrichments, and workflows that help sellers move efficiently through our sales process

  • Identify and solve operational challenges — Proactively spot friction points in our sales workflows and processes. Fix these issues yourself or marshal partners in GTM Innovation, BizTech, AI Engineering, and Data where appropriate

  • Support data-driven decision-making — Assist with sales performance analysis, on‑demand reporting, dashboard building, and territory management

  • Enhance sales tools and technology — Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design our GTM tech stack, ensure seamless integrations across platforms, and support implementation

  • Create documentation and training — Develop clear processes and training materials to support consistent execution across our global sales organization

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience — In Sales Operations or Revenue Operations at a hypergrowth B2B SaaS company

  • Strong analytical skills — Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and at least one BI tool (Tableau, Hex, etc.)

  • Tooling expertise — Expert user of tools like Clay, with a proven track record of rapidly shipping workflows and signals. Expert user of Gong, Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator. Experience with agentic platforms like Notion, n8n, and Dust is preferred

  • Systems thinking — Ability to see the big picture and design scalable processes that work across multiple regions and teams

  • Cross-functional collaboration — Proven track record of working effectively with sales, marketing, and technical teams

  • High ownership — Willing to roll up your sleeves and seamlessly flex from fixing the smallest issues to thinking big about how all workflows fit together

  • Communication skills — Able to translate complex processes into clear documentation and training materials

  • Global perspective — Understanding of how to build processes that work across time zones and regional nuances

Bonus points

  • Expert Notion user

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
