Sales Training Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales Training Manager to lead the development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of essential skills within our sales organization. This position reports to the Senior Director of Revenue Enablement. The Sales Training Manager will design and develop training programs that align with our sales competencies and goals.
The ideal candidate should feel comfortable collaborating with sales leaders, creating curriculum, and leading training sessions focused on methodology, sales skills, and industry knowledge. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on training, and ongoing improvement to ensure our sales team has the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Training Program Development & Delivery.
- Design and implement a structured 30-60-90-day onboarding program for all sales roles.
- Develop and maintain a scalable, multi-modal sales curriculum (e.g., eLearning, live workshops, video content, job aids).
- Create and manage certification programs to validate knowledge and skill proficiency across roles.
- Sales Skills & Process Enablement.
- Deliver training on core selling skills: prospecting, negotiation, value-based selling, etc.
- Reinforce adoption of MeridianLink’s sales methodology and sales process.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to identify skill gaps and tailor training accordingly.
- Product & Competitive Knowledge.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to ensure sales teams are up to date on product capabilities, use cases, and competitive differentiators.
- Develop tools and training to support competitive positioning and objection handling.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement.
- Track training effectiveness through assessments, certifications, and performance metrics.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required:
- 5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales leadership roles.
- Direct experience working in sales and/or solution consulting, ideally within the fintech, SaaS, or financial services industry.
- Proven experience designing and delivering sales training programs across multiple modalities.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and methodologies.
- Experience with LMS platforms, video creation tools, and sales enablement technologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Preferred:
- Experience in SaaS or fintech industries.
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies.
- Instructional design certification or adult learning theory background.
- Experience with tools like Gong, Highspot, Salesforce, Seismic, or similar.

Salary range of $94,500 to $133,400 (It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.) The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
