As we continue to grow, we’re looking for motivated and ambitious individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven setting and are excited to make an impact.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to help grow the reach of our conversational AI products. In this role, you’ll connect with potential clients, share how our AI solutions can solve real challenges, and support the early stages of the sales process. You’ll play a key role in generating interest and building relationships that lead to new business. The right person is proactive, confident, and excited about both sales and technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and qualify potential leads that would benefit from our AI products
  • Introduce and explain key product features to spark interest and engagement
  • Partner with Account Executives to smoothly hand off qualified leads
  • Use CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and related activities

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or business development (tech or AI background is a plus)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and a detail-oriented approach to tracking outreach
  • A self-starter who is motivated by goals and thrives in dynamic environments

What You’ll Get

  • A chance to work with advanced AI tools in a forward-thinking company
  • A collaborative environment that values new ideas and creative thinking
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth

Hiring Process Overview:

Our hiring process consists of five stages to ensure a thorough evaluation and give all candidates a fair opportunity. Given the volume of applicants, this process allows us to get to know you better while offering you a chance to explore the role and our company (and maybe even discover we’re your dream team!)

Stage 1: Initial Screening
During this 30-minute conversation with one of our recruiting assistants, we’ll get to know you better and introduce our company, including the innovative AI products we’re developing. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about us while sharing a bit about your background.
(It’s more of a friendly chat than an interrogation—promise! :-) )

Stage 2: Initial Evaluation
Next, you'll go through a brief evaluation where we’ll ask 5-6 focused questions to understand your potential fit and introduce a paid assignment related to the role. This is a chance to dive deeper into the role while keeping things efficient and focused.
(Think of it as a quick check-up, not a full examination! ;-))

Stage 3: Paid Assignment
At this point, you’ll complete a paid assignment that lets you show off your sales skills. The task involves presenting our Sales Role Play product to 3 of your sales rep or sales manager friends. We’ll get a glimpse of your abilities in action while you help spread the word.
(Show us your magic! **)

Stage 4: Paid Project - Driving Product Trials
Here’s where you’ll take on a more in-depth paid project, with the opportunity to earn up to $1,000. You’ll focus on driving product trials for our Sales Role Play product, demonstrating your ability to strategize, engage potential users, and produce results.
(This is your moment to shine and show how you make things happen!)

Stage 5: Final Interview
To wrap up the process, you’ll meet with the hiring manager for a detailed discussion about the role’s responsibilities and what it takes to succeed in the position.
(This is where you bring your A-game, but don’t worry—we’ll bring ours too! :-D )

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
