Job Title: Sales Representative                                              Department: Sales

Reports to: Store Manager

Job Summary: The Sales Representative has a critical role in building relationships using Needs Satisfaction sales techniques with former and potential clients to drive revenue. The Sales Representative will have a heavy focus on building strong relationships of trust, delivering exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with all employees to successfully meet customer needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Have knowledge of products, pricing, sales, marketing, and customer trends.
  • Calculate square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, and discounts.
  • Present, promote, educate, and sell products and services utilizing need-satisfaction selling.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Utilize known outreach and communication efforts along with additional self-generated ideas and initiatives for the purpose of gaining new customers and fostering retention of existing customers.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
  • Assist in auditing lead protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean office environment.
  • Regular onsite attendance during business hours according to the work schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Two years sales experience required
  • Strong customer service skills with positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication with customers, employees, and contractors.
  • Bilingual communication skills is a plus (English/Spanish)
  • Clean driving record

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to eight hours per day.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladder and lift frequently for extended periods.
