•  Maintain visibility of open quotes and provide regular status updates to sales representatives and management.

•  Document critical project details, including product requirements, project milestones, and account information, within Salesforce CRM.

•  Maintain tax-exempt documentation for customers and specific project opportunities.

•  Serve as the primary point of contact for customer questions regarding quote status, documentation requests, and general inquiries.

•  Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to gather information and resolve issues that affect quote accuracy or response times.

•  Generate reports and metrics to measure inquiry volume, quote turnaround speed, and overall customer-service performance.

•  Identify and implement process improvements and standardized workflows to enhance the customer experience and improve quote efficiency.

Required Qualifications

•  Associate degree in Business, Customer Service, Sales Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.

•  3–5 years of experience in customer service, sales support, project coordination, or inside sales.

•  Experience working with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

•  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•  Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

**Remote work will be considered for candidates living within the PA/MD/NJ areas with willingness to travel occasionally to our office/plant locations in this region.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Familiarity with construction products, building products, or contractor/distributor customer environments.

•  Experience supporting quotation processes or coordinating projects in a manufacturing, construction, or building-products environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
