Sales Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Manager is a key contributor to critical sales operations functions including bookings budget planning, sales compensation, Salesforce CRM oversight, sales forecasting, sales administrator enablement, sales performance management, and sales analytics in support of GDT’s growth strategy.  This role requires advanced customer service and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive process efficiencies and maturation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP, Sales Operations to prioritize sales operations programs and areas of focus in support of GDT’s growth agenda.
  • Participate in annual bookings budget planning from the corporate to individual seller levels.
  • Manage sales compensation policies and individual seller compensation plans.
  • Partner with the Sales Commissions Lead to ensure sales compensation plan principles are implemented, and to drive quarterly sales compensation plan calculations.
  • Oversee Salesforce CRM processes, usage, and governance for Sales Operations, partnering with Information Technology, Sales, and other departments as needed to support system requirements.
  • Partner with the Sales Administrator (S3) team to coordinate enablement and process / systems improvement opportunities within a cross functional team.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to participate in sales and GAAP forecasting, sales performance management process, Tuesday sales meeting cadence, quarterly business review preparation, and board meeting preparation as needed.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed in support of the sales organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in sales operations, sales compensation, or finance.
  • Microsoft Office, including expert Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly analytical and able to present to all levels of the organization.
  • Team oriented with good communication skills, flexible and adaptable.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no supervision.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Reporting Structure:

  • The Sales Operations Manager will be a member of the sales organization, reporting into the VP, Sales Operations.
