Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Sales Operations to support our high-performing sales organization. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, driving sales effectiveness, and enabling scalable growth. Based in our Chicago office, the Manager of Sales Operations will partner closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and customer success to optimize processes, manage sales technologies, and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilties:
- Lead day-to-day sales operations including forecasting, pipeline analysis, territory planning, and quota setting
- Drive sales performance and productivity by optimizing CRM (Salesforce) usage, reporting accuracy, and data integrity
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to support onboarding, training, and continuous learning initiatives
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance to analyze business performance, design dashboards, and deliver insights to senior leadership
- Manage and enhance the sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc.) to support automation and workflow optimization
- Evaluate and streamline sales processes to improve speed, efficiency, and customer experience
- Own key sales operations projects such as compensation planning, territory realignment, and go-to-market initiatives
- Serve as a strategic advisor to sales leadership on performance trends, risks, and opportunities
What it takes to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or related roles in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven expertise with Salesforce and other sales productivity tools (e.g., Clari, Gong, Outreach)
- Strong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with sales leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
