Description

ABOUT Vega

Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC.

We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams. Vega is already delivering real impact at some of the world’s largest organizations — improving detection, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket ship in cyber.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of our go-to-market engine. In this individual contributor role, you'll partner directly with Sales leadership to drive forecast accuracy, optimize our sales process, and build the data infrastructure that helps our reps close more deals. This is a high-impact role for a builder who thrives in a fast-moving Series A/B/C environment and wants their fingerprints on how the company scales.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Pipeline & Forecast Management

• Support the weekly forecast process end-to-end, partnering with Sales leadership to deliver accurate, data-driven pipeline reviews

• Build and maintain pipeline health dashboards that surface risk, velocity trends, and conversion benchmarks

• Develop and enforce pipeline hygiene standards across the sales team in Salesforce

Sales Process & Playbook Design

• Define, document, and continuously improve the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through close

• Partner with Sales Enablement to translate process improvements into rep-facing playbooks and training materials

• Identify bottlenecks and drop-off points in the funnel and design experiments to address them

Territory & Quota Planning

• Lead annual and mid-year territory design and quota-setting processes in collaboration with Finance and Sales leadership

• Build models to analyze rep capacity, market coverage, and attainment fairness

• Maintain and iterate on compensation plan documentation and quota tracking

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and own the Sales team's core reporting layer.

• Create executive-facing dashboards on ARR, win/loss, ramp, and rep performance

• Answer ad hoc analytical questions

CRM Administration & Data Integrity

• Serve as the Salesforce administrator support — managing objects, flows, validation rules, and user permissions

• Define and enforce data quality standards across accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities

• Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure clean handoffs and accurate attribution in the CRM

Deal Desk & CPQ Support

• Serve as the operational point of contact for complex or non-standard deals, working with Sales, Legal, and Finance

• Own and improve the CPQ configuration, ensuring pricing accuracy and approval workflows are running smoothly

• Track and analyze discounting trends and deal structure patterns to inform pricing strategy

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a closely related function

• Salesforce admin skills — you can build flows, manage objects, and keep the CRM clean without calling in a consultant

• Proficiency with BI tools and the ability to build dashboards stakeholders actually use

• Hands-on SQL experience — comfortable pulling and transforming data independently

• Experience with CPQ tools and deal desk processes in a SaaS environment

• Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills — you can turn messy data into a clear story and a recommendation

• Experience supporting quota-setting, territory planning, or comp design processes

• Strong communicator who can present to Sales leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and CS

• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Outreach, Salesloft, or a similar sales engagement platform

• Familiarity with Hubspot or another marketing automation platform

• Salesforce Administrator certification

• Experience supporting a sales team through a Series B or C fundraise or rapid headcount scaling

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
