This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales analytics, CRM management, and process optimization—building a strong foundation for a career in Revenue Operations, Sales Analytics, or Sales Enablement.

For high-performing interns, there may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time Sales Analyst role at the conclusion of the internship.

  • Assist in maintaining and improving executive-level dashboards in Salesforce and Excel to track pipeline health and outreach activity.

CRM & Process Optimization:

  • Support CRM data management, ensuring data integrity and improving reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in lead routing and territory management using LeanData.
  • Help automate manual reporting tasks to improve operational efficiency.

Sales Enablement & Tools Management:

  • Assist in developing and organizing sales enablement resources using Spekit.
  • Help optimize Outreach and Qualified platforms to enhance sales team effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to support sales initiatives.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects that enhance sales team productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly in written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Availability to work 20-25 hours per week (hybrid during summer, remote during the school year).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Exposure to sales enablement and automation tools (Outreach, LeanData, Qualified, Spekit).
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Previous internship or project experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or revenue operations.

Additional Information

The pay for this role is $18.00 per hour and interns will work approximately 20-25 hours/week.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
