What You Will Be Doing
  • Own the Sales Process: Optimize and scale the end-to-end sales process in a two-tier channel sales model, emphasizing best practices, out-of-the-box feature utilization, and sales productivity.
  • Data Governance Leadership: Champion scalable standards and ensure sales processes yield actionable business intelligence.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with go-to-market teams to identify, analyze, and enhance sales processes, prioritizing efficiency, scalability, and tech-debt reduction.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with diverse teams to drive and achieve alignment on new or revised processes, achieving shared accountability and successful implementation.
  • Sales Requirements Leadership: Document clear business requirements (user stories) for sales and NPI processes. Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to groom requirements and ensure punctual, high-quality execution.
  • Prioritization Mastery: Evaluate the impact of changes in processes, systems, or products and ruthlessly prioritize based on alignment with sales objectives.
  • Innovation: Leverage existing technologies or integrate new ones to drive automation, reduce complexity, and improve processes.
  • Leadership & Communication: Lead executive meetings with effective communication, decision-making, and comprehensive documentation.
  • SME & Coach: Serve as a subject matter expert on sales processes and methodology. Train cross-functional teams to ensure efficient system and process adoption.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Salesforce Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Operational Excellence: Proven experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM Administration, or professional services.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of software/SaaS business models in a two-tier channel model, with familiarity in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with tools like Slack and Jira, with a willingness to deepen technical knowledge.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding ability to lead conversations, drive decisions, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Execution Focus: Adept at diving into details, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skilled in synthesizing complex challenges, prioritizing tasks, and delivering actionable solutions.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Thrives in collaborative environments, taking initiative and ownership of projects while fostering team success.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations within a tech or SaaS organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ certifications.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects, including NPI initiatives.
  • Strong process optimization skills with a proven ability to streamline sales workflows.
  • Proven track record of executing initiatives that drive sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Executive presence with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups.
Location

Campbell, CA (Hybrid)

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $150,750 to $245,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
