At Soligent, the leading pure-play solar distributor in the US, continues to grow rapidly, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Analyst to take a hand-on approach in serving as a business partner to sales, marketing and sales operations leadership providing actionable insights to inform & drive business decisions. 

You'll be at the forefront of managing sales-focused dashboards, helping establish appropriate reporting cadences, and streamline data requirements as well as supporting best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications.  If you're passionate about bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world, then we want you on our team. 

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building and maintaining sales-focused dashboards via PowerBI  
  • Producing visually compelling reporting within specified cadences, as needed by business leaders
  • Managing financial forecasts and sales projections based on available business data
  • Analyzing data to evaluate monthly and annual sales and forecast goals
  • Producing presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements
  • Analyzing sales-related data trends and reporting key findings to leadership
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
  • Collaborating with managers and staff to implement financial plans
  • Addressing requests for ad hoc data reporting needs 
  • Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement
  • All other duties as assigned by manager 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, able to interact with cross-functional teams, and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; customer service mindset required
  • Proficiency with ERP a plus - NetSuite preferred
  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools - PowerBI preferred 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of sales analysis experience required
  • Previous general accounting or financial reporting experience 
  •  In-depth Excel and/or Google Sheets knowledge
