Job Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst (Data Analytics & Insights) is a key member of this evolution — transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel strategy, drive revenue, and elevate performance across every Kiva market.
We’re seeking a commercially minded analyst who blends strong sales acumen with advanced analytical skills. This role is responsible for developing data-driven insights that directly inform go-to-market strategy, pricing, promotional execution, and account prioritization.
You’ll partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure that every commercial decision is grounded in data and designed to grow.
As Kiva's Sales Operations Analyst, you will
- Own the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visuals that track sales performance, market trends, and profitability.
- Translate data into compelling stories that guide leadership and field decision-making.
- Participate in national and state-level business reviews to support strategy with insight and clarity.
- Build and continuously improve enablement tools and reporting templates that help Sales teams identify opportunities and manage accounts more effectively.
- Drive adoption through training, documentation, and proactive support; ensure tools are driving measurable performance outcomes.
- Analyze category and account data to identify whitespace, ROI, and portfolio optimization opportunities.
- Deliver recommendations that inform prioritization, spend, and product mix strategies.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to translate insights into commercial actions that increase revenue and efficiency.
- Ensure all reporting and dashboards are accurate, consistent, and delivered on schedule.
- Streamline manual processes through automation and standardized reporting frameworks.
- Maintain data integrity across data platforms.
- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives including AOP, reforecasting, QBRs, and new market launches.
- Develop reporting templates that improve decision velocity and cross-functional alignment.
- Act as a thought partner to Sales leadership by identifying key performance drivers and recommending data-based actions.
What we're looking for...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, or Commercial Insights — ideally within CPG, cannabis, or other high-growth consumer goods sectors.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Salesforce).
- Experience building automated dashboards or reports that enhance visibility and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to “tell the story” behind the numbers.
- Experience collaborating across departments and influencing decisions through data.
- Familiarity with forecasting, demand planning, or revenue management is a plus.
