📌 About the Internship

The Sales & Marketing Growth Intern program is a mentorship-driven, hands-on learning experience designed to help you kickstart your career in marketing, content strategy, and growth initiatives at a performance focused digital marketing agency. Over the course of this fully remote, part-time internship (20 hours per week) running from June to August, you will:

  • Be paired with an experienced mentor on our Growth Team who will guide your learning and provide real-world insights into growth marketing and sales strategies.
  • Participate in a group orientation during the first week to learn about Level’s systems, processes, and creative approach to digital marketing.
  • Amplify Level Agency’s thought leadership and omnipresence by repurposing and distributing at least 10 key content pieces per month across LinkedIn (paid and organic), email, partner channels, and industry communities.
  • Track engagement and performance metrics to refine content distribution strategies.
  • Assist in developing and executing content marketing campaigns that align with Level’s growth initiatives.
  • Research and identify new industry communities, partner channels, and distribution opportunities to expand reach.
  • Leverage digital marketing tools and AI-powered workflows to optimize content repurposing and distribution.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and content teams to align messaging with business objectives.
  • Engage in weekly professional development training sessions and regular one-on-one check-ins with your manager to receive feedback, track progress, and refine your skills.
  • Independently own a project focused on a key content initiative, providing a portfolio-worthy deliverable.
  • Complete a final presentation to showcase insights, strategies, and key results from the internship.
  • Have the potential opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and agency needs.

Requirements
  • Content Creation & Writing: Experience with social media posts, blogs, or email copy (even for personal projects, student orgs, or side hustles). Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in writing.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Comfort with interpreting data and making decisions based on insights. Any exposure to tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or tracking social media engagement is a plus.
  • Project & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Past experience in fast-paced environments (retail, customer service, gig work, or freelance gigs count).
  • Basic Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, or email marketing tools is a plus. If no direct experience, a strong desire to learn and some familiarity with marketing concepts.
  • Tech Savviness & Adaptability: Can quickly learn and navigate new tools (HubSpot, AI tools, Google Sheets, Canva, etc.). Comfortable with automation, AI-powered workflows, and data-driven marketing.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work with different stakeholders and follow up on tasks proactively. Some experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Asana, or similar).
  • Creative & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Any experience with side projects, small business marketing, or personal branding. Willingness to test ideas, iterate, and learn from failure.

Expected Working Hours

Interns are expected to attend orientation and commit to a set schedule. There is the possibility of gaining schedule flexibility based on reliability and output throughout the internship.

  • Monday - Friday averaging 20 hours per week from June 2nd, 2025 through August 22nd, 2025
  • Orientation week 1: June 2nd - June 6th, 12pm-4pm ET
  • Weeks 2-12: Interns must commit to either 9am-1pm ET or 1pm-5pm ET
Benefits
  • This role reports to the Head of Marketing, Organic Growth. The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hour.
