Neogen is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth for our animal safety product portfolio across a our Western territory, with a primary focus on Professional Pest Control (PPC) distributors, Pest Control Operators (PCO), Professional Pest Management (PPM) companies, and select OEM animal health partners. This role is ideal for an experienced, results-oriented sales professional who can build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and execute territory strategies that expand market share and profitability. The ideal candidate will reside in either the Los Angeles or Phoenix areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Neogen's animal safety products and services to PPC distributors, PCO/PPM companies, OEM partners, and other targeted customers within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute formal sales plans and market penetration strategies to increase revenue, expand market share, and improve territory profitability.
  • Maintain consistent communication with existing customers to monitor satisfaction, address concerns, resolve issues, and assess competitive positioning.
  • Conduct regular sales outreach, including a minimum of 150 documented sales contacts and 15 customer visits per month, with timely monthly reporting.
  • Manage customer, distributor representative, PPM company, and end-user information through CRM systems to support accurate pipeline and relationship management.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and meetings to promote products, gain market insights, identify competitive trends, and uncover new business opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • Five or more years of relevant industry sales experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, manage a territory, and meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with distributors, pest control operators, professional pest management companies, or animal health/OEM customers preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and participate in customer visits, trade shows, and industry meetings as needed.
