Position Overview:
The Sales Manager supports the Bryan, OH office of CrossCountry Mortgage. The Sales Manager directs and manages the sales activities of the branch, ensuring that efficient customer service is provided, and quality loans are generated. This position is responsible for originating loans, recruiting, managing, coaching, and motivating a staff of outside loan officers to meet sales production goals and assure compliance with regulations and policies. The Sales Manager oversees a team of sales professionals.

This position operates within Eastern Standard Time Zone working hours to support the East Coast region.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet standards set for branch production.

  • Manage NOI, total revenue, and origination quality.

  • Direct the work of mortgage loan officers, including setting and monitoring of goals, implementing policies and procedures, and managing price protection.

  • Establish referral partners in the market (e.g., realtors, builders, attorneys, financial advisors or CPAs).

  • Analyze and review General Ledger and Profit and Loss Statements.

  • Originate quality loan production until such time as the department’s volume reaches sufficient levels to warrant non-production from manager.

  • Identify partnership opportunities and to develop business relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.

  • 5+ years’ external/outside retail mortgage origination experiences with an emphasis on self-sourced business.

  • 3+ years’ retail mortgage sales management experience.

  • 2+ years of hiring and/or managing a sales force in the mortgage industry.

  • Experience with Encompass 360.

  • Meet the requirements of a Qualified Individual as determined by S.A.F.E and State Governing bodies.

  • Experience with FNMA/FHLMC, FHA/VA guidelines and all facets involved in real estate transactions.

  • Excellent sales and marketing skills.

  • Excellent communication and management skills.

Pay Range:

  • Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00

  • This position is bonus plan eligible

The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
