Sales Manager – Los Angeles, CA

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area, California
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Wayzim

Wayzim is a global technology company focused on intelligent automation and advanced solutions for industrial and logistics operations. As we continue expanding our international presence, we are strengthening our commercial team in the United States and looking for a Sales Manager to help drive our growth across Southern California.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building markets, developing relationships, and creating new business opportunities from the ground up.

The position will play an important role in expanding Wayzim’s presence in the Greater Los Angeles market, working closely with customers, partners, and our technical and project teams to develop solutions that address real operational challenges.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development across Greater Los Angeles and Southern California.

The ideal candidate has B2B sales experience in warehouse automation, logistics automation, material handling, or related industrial sectors, including forklift equipment, warehouse racking, conveyor systems, robotics/AMRs, 3PL, logistics, or other industrial solutions.

More importantly, we are looking for someone with a genuine sales mindset: proactive, energetic, highly communicative, comfortable approaching new customers, and motivated by developing business and building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new customers and business opportunities across Southern California and surrounding markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with end users, distributors, system integrators, 3PL companies, warehouse operators, and strategic partners.
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal technical teams to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and customer meetings through proposals, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build, manage, and continuously develop a strong sales pipeline.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and customers to convert opportunities into business.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Monitor local market trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Represent Wayzim at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking activities.
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, and other internal teams to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Experience in warehouse automation, material handling, logistics, forklifts, warehouse racking, conveyor systems, robotics/AMRs, 3PL, or related industries is strongly preferred.
  • Existing customer relationships and industry connections in Southern California are a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to develop new customers and generate business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities in the market.
  • Willingness to visit customers and travel as required.
  • Current residence in the Greater Los Angeles area is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.

Why Join Wayzim?

At Wayzim, you will have the opportunity to join a growing international technology company at an important stage of its expansion in the U.S. market.

This is more than a traditional sales position. You will have the opportunity to help develop the market, establish strategic relationships, identify new business opportunities, and directly contribute to the growth of Wayzim’s presence in Southern California.

We are looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply manage an existing customer portfolio.

You will work in an international environment, collaborate with technical and commercial teams across different markets, and have the opportunity to develop your career alongside a company expanding its global operations.

Compensation & Benefits

Wayzim offers a competitive compensation package based on the candidate’s experience, industry background, customer network, and overall qualifications.

Join Wayzim and help build the future of intelligent automation in the U.S. market.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
