Core responsibilities:
- Selling GE Vernova services, maintenance and equipment upgrades to our customers globally.
- Supporting the internal sales process and acting as an advisor to other regional GE Vernova businesses.
- Generating a pipeline of opportunities and be able to negotiate and close deals.
- Winning business in accordance with Business Orders, Margin & Convertibility targets.
- Proactively managing opportunities through Salesforce.
- Initiating contacts, visits and developing relationships at all relevant levels with the customer accounts.
- Helping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support team.
- Planning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities from the installed base to meet sales targets.
- Liaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids.
- Regular travelling to customer meetings in Norway & Northern Europe.
Essential qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing business and relationships within a Sales environment in markets such as Oil & Gas, Offshore and Industry.
- Proven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in target account sales and working to given quotas.
- Flexibility and eligibility to travel domestically within Norway, Scandinavia and overseas on a few weeks’ notice for periods of a few days up to a week.
- Adaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicator.
- Based in Norway.
- Fluency in Norwegian & English, both verbal and in writing.
