We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager with a strong background in selling embedded finance products, particularly in the FX space, to lead growth in the travel sector. You will connect our cutting edge solutions with businesses that want to optimize their cross border payments and FX workflows to drive higher volumes and profitability.

Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify, target, and engage potential clients within the travel sector, including bedbanks, OTAs, and other intermediaries.

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive adoption of our embedded finance and FX solutions.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers such as CFOs, Treasurers, and operational leaders in travel businesses.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Travel regularly to meet clients in person and attend relevant industry related events, including fintech, SaaS, and platform economy conferences.

Sales Execution

  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long term satisfaction.

Market Expertise

  • Stay informed on travel industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting cross border payments and FX.
  • Provide market feedback to help refine Grain’s offerings and address evolving client needs.

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM tools.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Report directly to the VP Sales 

Qualifications

Experience

  • Five or more years in sales within fintech, embedded finance, or FX solutions, with a focus on the travel industry.
  • Proven track record of selling to travel businesses, including bedbanks, OTAs, and intermediaries.
  • Familiarity with operational and financial challenges in the travel sector.

Skills

  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to simplify complex financial solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and sales analytics platforms.
