The Sales Manager oversees wholesale specialty sales, develops sales strategies, forecasts planning, and participates in trade shows, primarily targeting women's apparel.
Place Showroom is seeking an experienced Sales Manager and brand strategist for contemporary dress brand, Elliatt. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all domestic wholesale specialty sales for the brand. Duties include but are not limited to, overseeing the brand's specialty sales strategy, forecasting and planning, and territory development. The Sales Manager will participate in relevant major trade shows and regional markets throughout the U.S. The Sales Manager must have established relationships with contemporary apparel accounts and should be knowledgeable about distribution and market trends.

- Excellent people skills
- The ability to excel in high-pressure and fast-paced situations
- Must have at least 5 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in women's apparel/accessories
- Experience leading a sales team preferred
- Must have relationships in the industry with key women's contemporary specialty accounts
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Knowledge of current trends
- Professional office skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs
- This role can be based in NYC or Los Angeles; remote candidates will not be considered
- Salary range $120-130K plus bonus opportunity, commensurate with experience
