The Sales Manager is responsible for managing channel partners and Derive Sales Growth as well as the recruitment, retention and development of direct sales talent in one of our key business geographies. This leader will build and develop a diverse team that uniquely differentiates Pall Corporation from all competitors, providing a best in market experience for our customers. The Sales Manager provides strategic direction and coaching to their direct sales team, outlining growth strategies and executing supporting tactics that Deliver Sales Goals and to sustainably grow, outpacing the market. The Sales Manager leads all funnel management, funnel development and selling activities of assigned Region sales team with a focus on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical and Mining channel markets. The primary function is to implement sales plans and to regularly evaluate key performance indicators to deliver on growth expectations and proactively implementing countermeasures as needed.

This position reports to the MEA Commercial Director and is part of the Commercial Team under Direct Sales located in UAE or any relevant site in Middle East and Africa and will be an on-site role to cover Africa territory

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Enable Channel Partners to Deliver Sales Goals: Manage Channel Partners, Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Expand market share by building strong relationships with key customer accounts and promoting Pall’s full range of technologies, including equipment, services, and Energy+ products. Identify and lead high-value channel expansion opportunities to support business growth.
  • Promote all Pall technologies and capabilities, including Growth - Equipment, Services & Engineering Technology, and all other Energy+ products. Lead and maintain productive long-term relationships with senior management and key decision-makers within direct sales organizations. Develop direct sales co-marketing plans, including action plans for increasing market visibility and lead sharing with Accounts, Marketing and Channel Partner Sales Teams.
  • Deliver Customer Value: Provide technical expertise and lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, etc.) to address customer needs and secure new opportunities. Present and demonstrate Pall’s technologies to process development and manufacturing teams. Organize and lead customer training sessions covering product knowledge, technical insights, and sales skills.
  • Manage Channel Partners: Oversee and grow channel partner capacity to support sales goals. Build strong, collaborative relationships with channel partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, product positioning, and lead generation. Co-develop marketing and sales plans to increase visibility and drive joint growth initiatives.
  • Leverage Tools & Insights: Use Sales Forces (SFDC) and Energy+ tools to report business opportunities and track progress. Maintain strong customer engagement through regular face-to-face interactions. Build detailed customer profiles and SWOT analyses to inform strategy. Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to shape competitive positioning and drive growth using advanced sales tools and materials.
  • Lead & Develop Teams: Manage and coach a high-performing sales team using DBS tools and methodologies. Support field visits and provide hands-on guidance to sales associates. Foster continuous development through workshops, professional networks, and industry events. Ensure team alignment with performance metrics and strategic goals.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Holding of Engineering and business degree, preferred chemical or process, or relevant.
  • +10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG Plants, Refineries & Petrochemicals, Mining and 3+ years of experience in People Management role.
  • Bilingual Arabic and English to meet customer requirements. 
  • Experiences with customer in Africa, preferably in South Africa, Nigeria, Algeria and Egypt market.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel – 50% of the time to travel across countries in Middle East and Africa, with client site visits.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Background in Gas plants process and applications, Knowledge in filtration & separation technologies.
  • Experience with strategic selling to indirect channel partners
  • Prior experience with sales funnel management (salesforce.com or equivalent)
