Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, strategic Sales Leader to own and execute the GTM launch of our new Accounts Payable (AP) and Payment’s product for EBizCharge. In this role, you will be the driving force behind taking our new solution from incubation to market scale within the sales organization.

As the Sales Leader for this product line, you will blend high-level strategy with hands-on execution. You will build the go-to-market framework from scratch, define how we position the product against competitors, craft winning sales pitches, and architect high-converting demo paths.

Responsibilities

  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Design, build, and execute the comprehensive commercial blueprint to launch and scale the AP/payments product from the ground up.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate closely with the Executive, Product and Marketing teams to define target customer personas, refine unique value propositions, and map out competitive differentiation.
  • Pitch & Collateral Creation: Develop and test standard sales pitches, objection-handling scripts, and buyer enablement materials that resonate with B2B buyers and financial decision-makers (CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance).
  • Demo Architecture: Design and refine interactive, value-driven demo paths that clearly showcase the product’s efficiency, security, and ROI.
  • Direct Revenue Generation: Personally lead initial sales cycles, closing early adopter accounts to validate market fit and establish repeatable sales playbooks.
  • Scale & Leadership: Lay the organizational foundation to eventually recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing sales team as the product line scales.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within financial technology, business payments, corporate cards, and expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) automation software.
  • Launch/Early-Stage Experience: Proven track record of successfully launching a new product line or scaling an early-stage Accounts Payable (AP) Automation software offering to market.
  • Strategic & Tactical Mindset: Ability to toggle between high-level GTM planning and tactical work like drafting pitch decks and jumping on customer demo calls.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of corporate finance workflows, payment rails (ACH, Wire, Virtual Cards), and ERP integrations.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong storytelling capabilities with the ability to translate complex financial tech into clear, business-driven value for stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • Employer paid benefits (including Medical, Dental, Vision, & life insurance) for selected plans for the employee.
  • Retirement 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Gym access, dry cleaners, car wash conveniently located within building.
  • Generous PTO plan with an additional 9 Days Company Paid Holidays per year.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
