Position Description

 

As a Sales Executive, you will drive new business generation for our enterprise financial SaaS products in a classic hunter role, taking an entrepreneurial, hands‑on approach to building opportunities through solution and insight selling while prospecting, engaging known clients, and developing leads from Marketing and Inside Sales. You will manage an assigned territory and existing client base to maximize growth, leading senior-level negotiations and client meetings with support from Solution Sales and Product Management.

A key driver of success in this role is Quinn by Toppan Merrill—our next‑generation platform transforming how organizations create, manage, and deliver complex regulatory and financial disclosures—offering strong market momentum and a powerful opportunity to open new doors, strengthen client relationships, and drive meaningful business growth as you bring this innovative solution to market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify new business leads via client networking opportunities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop client decision makers and influencers within target market
  • Create and manage a strategic account and territory plan for your area of responsibility, outlining specific areas of focus, tasks and activities
  • Participate and execute on new business sales campaigns
  • Identify, negotiate and close cross selling opportunities with sales experts in other teams
  • Present a value based selling approach with Toppan Merrill clients and be able to offer solution advice based around multiple use cases.
  • Demonstrate a consultative selling style and work in partnership with Toppan Merrill clients to provide a solution suited to solve for their business challenges
  • Conduct professional client presentations across multiple products and capabilities, specifically tailored to the audience
  • Actively participate in marketing event planning with a view to maximize opportunities within your specific territory, and defining which marketing support you need
  • Must have a strong teamwork ethic that is demonstrated by your actions and inclusive approach to selling
  • Provide clear market feedback to the senior team at Toppan Merrill to ensure we remain in touch with market sentiment
  • Receive and manage client feedback
  • Ensure all paperwork, contracts and reporting requirements are met whilst ensuring you maximize revenue opportunities

Who We Are Looking For:

  • You are articulate and able to engage at the C Suite level within our client base
  • You are determined and relentless and find creative ways to engage with people.
  • You love the art of the deal
  • You have a passion for finding the pain point of a potential client and identify how Toppan Merrill offers a solution to resolve that
  • You possess strong business awareness and negotiation skills
  • You understand and are able to talk cohesively to the eco system and workflow of our clients’ businesses and use that knowledge to identify opportunities for collaboration

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience preferably in a solution selling SaaS environment
  • Experience selling to Executive level Financial and Legal buyers

We understand that your skills deserve recognition. That's why we offer a competitive base pay scale ranging from $120,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience and expertise. Additional pay, including commissions and bonuses, range up to 50% of base pay depending on performance. We believe in compensating our dedicated team members fairly for their hard work and commitment. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
