Responsibilities
- Individually prospect and drive direct sales to end users or through security resellers within the assigned geographic region
- Independently prospect and hunt for new customers, taking them from introduction to contract closure
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team while also being self-driven and capable of working independently
- Conduct product demonstrations and present value propositions to potential customers
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly, positioning VOLT AI as the preferred choice
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the entire sales cycle
- Attend industry trade shows and events as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in selling (physical security solutions experience a plus)
- Proven track record of success in driving and closing complex deals, preferably in the physical security industry
- Strong network of contacts and previous customers in the industry, enabling immediate outreach and generating leads
- Experience in independently prospecting and hunting for new business opportunities
- Familiarity with security integrators, and selling through this channel is highly advantageous
- Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools, preferably experience with HubSpot
- Proficiency in ZoomInfo Sales OS or similar tools for lead generations and prospecting is a plus
- Willingness to travel, approximately 30-70% of the time, as required to meet with potential customers and drive new deals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value of our software solutions.
- Experience in B2B and B2C sales is essential, particularly with large corporations and institutions with extensive video camera installations
- Vertical experience in Fortune 1000, higher education, distribution, manufacturing, energy, or finance sectors is strongly preferred
