Hunt and close complex B2B enterprise SaaS deals in a defined territory. Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, run full sales cycles, engage C-suite buyers, use value-based frameworks, maintain CRM accuracy, and travel ~25%.

Sales Executive

Solovis builds portfolio management and analytics software for institutional investors: the endowments, foundations, family offices, and asset managers responsible for some of the most complex capital in the world. We are backed by Insight Partners and growing fast, investing in product, people, and the client outcomes that drive retention and expansion.

The team is sharp and moves with purpose. AI is core to how we operate, not a buzzword. If you learn quickly, think in systems, and want your work to matter, you will find a home here.

The Role

This is a hunting role. You own a defined territory in the medium and large enterprise market, build relationships from the champion level to the C-suite, and run a full sales cycle from first outreach to signed contract. You create your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, and a genuine understanding of the problems your buyers wake up thinking about.

Your buyers are sophisticated. They evaluate vendors rigorously and expect you to know their world. The best AEs here earn that credibility quickly and build relationships that last.

Why Solovis

  • Competitive OTE with uncapped upside. Base and variable are set to reward consistent performance, and top performers earn meaningfully above target.
  • A real greenfield territory. You are not inheriting a capped book. You are building something.
  • Institutional backing. Insight Partners and ST6 bring capital, networks, and operational experience scaling B2B SaaS businesses.
  • Access to strong leadership. The executives around you have built and sold enterprise software before. That experience is available to you on deals.

What We're Looking For

  • A structured seller. You know Challenger, MEDDPICC, or a comparable framework and you actually use it. You qualify hard and compete to win.
  • Proven track record of success. You have closed complex B2B deals, maintained competitive win rates above 25%, and worked transactions ranging from $30K to $500K.
  • High EQ paired with persistence. You are curious, direct, and composed when a deal gets complicated.
  • Resourcefulness. You know how to use AI tools, internal subject matter experts, and available data to build a smarter path forward, without waiting for someone to hand it to you.
  • Process discipline. Your CRM is accurate. Your forecasts are trustworthy. You treat data as part of the job, not an afterthought.

Requirements

  • 4+ years closing complex B2B SaaS deals, with experience in enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience selling into the investment management space required, ideally including institutional investors and asset owners such as pensions, endowments and foundations, OCIOs, family offices, or sovereign wealth funds.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar value-based selling frameworks
  • Fully remote with approximately 25% travel
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Who Won't Thrive Here

If you need a lot of structure handed to you, a warm pipeline, or a culture that protects you from accountability, this is not the right fit. We operate more like a gym than a spa. Growth here is intentional and sometimes uncomfortable, and that is exactly how we like it. If that sounds like the environment where you do your best work, we want to talk.

Interview Process

We want this to be a great fit for both sides. If you move forward, you will complete a short set of aptitude and personality assessments before connecting with a recruiter. Everyone goes through them, from interns to our CEO. The invitation will come from a member of our recruiting team. Keep an eye on your inbox, and check your spam folder just in case.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
