Position Summary:
Sales Executives are professionals who help us build our middle market business via the broker distribution channels for Medical, Group Insurance and Specialty products. Their goal is to understand and meet customer needs using Aetna’s and CVS’ combined products and services.

Fundamental components:
- Develops new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.
- Ensures product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives.
- Manages and builds producer relations.
- Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line illustrating a keen understanding of client's multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array.
- Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.
- Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations. Participates and leads constituent meetings including finals presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Must be willing to travel within the Market (San Diego, Inland Empire).
  • Must reside in San Diego County.
  • Health & Life Insurance license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established relationships with Broker Channel.
  • Carrier Sales experience.
  • Salesforce experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$56,855.00 - $111,414.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
