  • Identification and evaluation of new product, service and market opportunities for Sprintax products and services.
  • Identifying opportunities for developing and nurturing leads, and securing presentation opportunities, including presenting and exhibiting at conferences, both in person and remotely.
  • Management of leads via HubSpot – evaluation of all opportunities, prioritization, development of leads and closing sales and marketing program.
  • Management and reporting of sales pipeline.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to contribute ideas to the marketing plan for the market, including the events and conference strategy.
  • Where applicable, manage the annual invoice renewal process and monitoring of code usage.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, ensuring long-term partnerships and satisfaction with Sprintax products and services.
  • Tailor sales strategies and communication to fit the cultural nuances of different LATAM markets, particularly Brazil, ensuring that Sprintax’s offerings resonate with local needs and expectations.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand the market landscape, identify competitor offerings, and refine Sprintax’s value proposition for the LATAM market.
  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding Sprintax’s presence in new LATAM markets, identifying key growth regions and potential partners for collaboration.
  • Provide initial training and ongoing support to new clients, ensuring they are fully equipped to use Sprintax products effectively, and address any questions or concerns as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the product, customer success, and support teams to ensure that client feedback is captured and relayed to help refine Sprintax’s offerings in the region.
  • Take the lead in organizing and coordinating participation in local and regional conferences, trade shows, and webinars, ensuring Sprintax’s presence is maximized and that the team’s objectives are met.
  • Actively build and maintain a network of contacts within the J visa program ecosystem, including universities, recruiters, and other organizations that send participants to the U.S.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, tax changes, and best practices in sales to continuously improve sales techniques and strategies for the LATAM market.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
