About the role:
As a Sales Executive - Quota Carrier, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals bringing our new and exciting Climate Risk Financial Modeler product to market. FIS® Climate Risk Financial Modeler allows companies to measure the financial impacts of climate change on their physical assets. By combining state-of-the-art climate modeling with sophisticated financial modeling, it enables firms to make informed decisions that help protect their operations, make their money work harder and maximize growth, as well as to meet disclosure requirements.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of exceeding sales targets, launching new solutions, and building strong customer relationships across various sectors.

What You Will Be Doing:
•    Drive growth by developing new business opportunities and exceeding annual quota targets with both new and existing customers.
•    Build and maintain connections at all decision-making levels, identifying and addressing prospect needs effectively.
•    Design and implement innovative sales strategies, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
•    Develop and oversee a robust sales pipeline, keeping management informed of progress and opportunities.
•    Maintain regular contact with internal SMEs to learn about our Climate Risk product and the latest developments in this emerging space.
•    Join us and be part of a team that values integrity and profitability in all business activities.

What you bring:
•    Proven success in selling software as a service (SaaS) solution, ideally to sustainability, risk, or finance leaders, across the [insert market here] market.
•    Extensive experience in closing mid to enterprise-level deals.
•    Strong industry contacts and references within the territory.
•    Collaborative team player with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships.
•    Enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn about an emerging field.
•    Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.
•    Understanding of climate change or risk analysis is desirable but not essential.

What we offer you:

•   A competitive salary.

•   Attractive benefits, including private medical coverage, dental coverage, and three weeks of paid vacation.

•   A modern, international work environment and a dedicated and motivated team. The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technology.

•   A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
