Anritsu continues to invest in high performance sales and support resources as the 5G technology wave grows around the world. We seek a top tier Sales Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is a direct technical sales role. The ideal candidate can successfully identify, develop and close new business and exceed their sales quota.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Sales and support of Anritsu’s wireless and optical product portfolio.
  • Developing and executing a sales plan focused growing existing accounts and finding new customers. This involves coordinating the efforts of peers (Business Development Managers, Field Applications Engineers and others).
  • Building executive relationships within key accounts in your territory.
  • Managing large, complex sales opportunities with multiple decision makers.
  • Products and technologies supported include: BERTs, OSAs, Wireless Protocol and RF Network Emulators, along with the entire portfolio of Anritsu test and measurement products.
  • Must be able to present technical solutions and communicate complex economic and technology based value propositions to all levels within a target account, from line level technicians and engineers to C level executives.
  • Trade-show and industry event representation.
  • Disciplined follow-up on leads and customer support requests, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Weekly funnel management updates.
  • Consistently tracking progress of sales opportunities in Salesforce.com and producing an accurate monthly sales forecast.
  • Lifting and transportation of equipment up to 150 lbs into and out of personal vehicle.
  • Travel <25% in local San Francisco Bay Area Territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent verifiable work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant technical sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to create and present technical solutions and business value propositions to multiple levels and functions within an organization.
  • Previous experience with test and measurement instruments and applications, including those related to RF and Microwave, Datacom, and both Wireless and Optical Telecommunication technologies beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
