IVIX is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to support our mission of illuminating the shadow economy. In this role, you will be a crucial link between our clients and our product, providing technical expertise, customizing solutions, and overseeing the deployment of our platform. Your mission will be to showcase the power of IVIX’s platform, ensure seamless implementation, and deliver a smooth transition to operational use.

About the postion
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global sales team to understand client challenges and present tailored IVIX solutions that drive results, particularly for government clients addressing complex tax compliance needs.
- Lead the technical sales process with customers, including delivering technical presentations, and product demonstrations, attending conferences, and responding to RFPs.
- Customize our platform to fit client requirements and address technical concerns, ensuring seamless integration.
- Oversee Product Deployment: Install, configure, and deploy IVIX’s platform on-premise or in hybrid environments for government clients, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Technical Support for Deployment: Troubleshoot deployment challenges, manage installation timelines, and ensure the product operates as expected in client environments.
- Provide clients with expert support, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales, deployment, and implementation processes.
- Assist in creating compelling, technically sound proposals that align with client objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or deployment engineering role.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, APIs, cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and their tool sets, as well as general system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with data, including data analysis, machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI) or implementing large-scale data-centric solutions.
- Experience installing and deploying software solutions in on-premise, hybrid, or cloud environments, with familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and various virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting, data processing, or integrations.
- Proven ability to present complex technical solutions effectively to clients and to audiences at conferences.
- Experience working with large enterprises or government clients.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills, capable of identifying challenges and providing effective, innovative solutions.
Additional Requirements:
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with government clients, attend conferences, support on-site implementations, and oversee product deployment.
- Familiarity with government security standards (e.g., FEDRAMP) is a strong advantage.

- East coast, USA.
Language Skills:
- English and Spanish (required). Candidates with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages will have an advantage in working with our diverse client base in the Americas and across Europe.
