While this role is fully remote, we are hiring candidates located in the PST or MST time zones.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in detection and response, clearly articulating the unique value Blackpoint offers in comparison to other cybersecurity solutions.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Support teams to bridge the technical gap between Blackpoint and its customers, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Conduct tailored demos and proof-of-concept trials, effectively translating complex technical concepts into clear, digestible presentations for diverse audiences.
Oversee and manage end-to-end evaluations, guiding prospects through hands-on experience to demonstrate Blackpoint's ability to address their specific security needs.
Utilize your deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks (NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) to support customers in meeting their security and compliance goals.
Provide valuable insights to engineering teams, helping to refine and align our offerings with customer feedback.
What You’ll Bring:
4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or other client-facing technical roles, with a strong focus on the SMB market.
Experience and knowledge in cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint security (EDR, Antivirus, IDS/IPS, Firewalls), networking (IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP), and Windows domain administration.
Strong familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Experience with SaaS solutions and Managed Service Providers (MSP), particularly in the context of cybersecurity.
Scripting and automation knowledge to support efficient sales and deployment processes.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements independently.
Travel Details:This role requires occasional travel (approximately 30% of the year) to meet with clients, partners, and prospects, as well as to attend industry events and trade shows.
