The Job

We are seeking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our fast-growing US pre-sales team.
Our experts in this team leverage their technical expertise and sales acumen to simplify complex workflows for prospective new customers.
You will partner closely with Account Executives, to drive velocity, and help customers envision scalable, efficient processes using the Simpro platform.
Our goal: to help trade businesses and individuals be more productive, efficient and ultimately successful!
You'll serve as a technical expert, bridging the gap between our product offerings and the specific needs of our clients.

What You’ll Do

- Translate technical features into business benefits for customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor product demonstrations accordingly.
- Address technical questions and concerns raised by potential clients.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations.
- Gain deep understanding of our product and technical intricacies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Identity customer pain points and propose solutions that align with our offering.
- Gather feedback from customers and share insights with the product development team to influence product enhancements​.

    What You’ll Bring

    - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    - Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
    - Experience in the Field Service Management or Trades experience preferred.
    - Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.
    - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
    - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    - Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
