The OpportunityAs a Sales Engineer I, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, and help organizations move from reactive tools to a proactive, agent-led productivity model, ensuring Superhuman becomes the "connective tissue" of their enterprise tech stack. You will partner with Account Executives to drive new business and expansions by demonstrating the power of the Superhuman Suite. You will not just demo "features" but architect agent-led workflows that solve deep business problems.
In this role, you will:
- Architect Agent Solutions: Partner on strategic deals to design how Superhuman Go and first-party agents (e.g., Proofreader, Humanizer, Multilingual) can be woven into a customer’s existing workflows (Gmail, Salesforce, etc.).
- Execute Value-Driven POCs: Run Proof of Concept programs that focus on proactivity and "push" interactions rather than just reactive prompting.
- Strengthen Prototypes with Real World Experience: Ensure technical demos remain robust and grounded in real-world orchestration logic, avoiding the trap of shallow prototypes.
- Increase Full Platform Value: Help customers understand how the Superhuman platform accelerates the adoption and ROI of new AI capabilities across their entire workforce.
- Bridge Product & Sales: Collaborate with the Agents, Go, Coda, and Mail BUs to provide the "voice of the customer" that informs our roadmap for proactive AI.
- Customer Facing: 3 Years in a prospect/client-facing role within a GTM or CS team.
- Embraces Proactive AI: You understand that the future of productivity isn't just about better prompting, but about AI that knows and acts before being asked.
- Is Technically Curious: You are excited to learn and demo emerging AI technologies, including orchestration, agentic workflows, and the Coda "Apps" layer (Docs & Databases).
- Understands the SE Fundamentals: You excel at technical discovery, overcoming security/IT objections, and demonstrating clear business value.
- Thrives in a "Compound Startup": You are comfortable navigating a matrixed environment where functional excellence meets fast-moving Business Unit agility.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: You use data to identify where AI agents can have the most impact on a customer’s unique "Job-to-be-Done".
- Communicates with Conviction: You can articulate a vision for the future of work that includes Agents and automated workflows to both technical and executive audiences.
- Cross-Functional: Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments

Superhuman takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future. The expected “On Target Earnings” (OTE) for this role are outlined below and may be modified in the future.
The commission portion for this role will be 30% of the On-Target Earning (OTE).
