ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the CRO, you will play a central role in ensuring the sales team is fully equipped to sell effectively. You’ll coordinate sales onboarding programs, drive product marketing alignment, and manage enablement activities for product launches. You’ll act as an operational backbone—creating structure, improving processes, and ensuring reps have the training, tools, content, and confidence needed to succeed. This role is highly collaborative and ideal for someone who loves organizing information, creating repeatable systems, and supporting a high-performing GTM team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own end-to-end sales onboarding, including scheduling, materials, training delivery, and progress tracking.

  • Ensure new hires are enabled on core sales processes, product knowledge, and messaging.

  • Maintain and continuously improve onboarding documentation, training flows, and enablement content; track completion and surface gaps.

  • Coordinate recurring sales training (weekly, monthly, quarterly) in partnership with Sales, Product, and Marketing.

  • Own the enablement calendar and ensure training is delivered on time and kept up to date in the LMS/knowledge base.

  • Gather feedback from reps and leaders to continuously improve training effectiveness.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate product updates and launches into clear, actionable sales enablement.

  • Coordinate launch readiness, including live trainings, briefs, battlecards, FAQs, and talk tracks.

  • Track training completion and readiness for major product releases.

  • Keep enablement tools, content repositories, and onboarding assets organized and current.

  • Track engagement with enablement content and identify areas requiring additional support.

  • Support documentation of sales processes, best practices, certifications, and assessments.

  • Other responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • You are exceptionally organized and thrive on creating structure, documentation, and repeatable processes.

  • You love supporting others—especially helping teams learn, ramp, and perform at their highest level.

  • You feel comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively driving clarity and structure.

  • You’re an excellent communicator who can simplify complex product information into easy-to-understand training content.

  • You enjoy collaborating across Sales, Product, and Marketing and can manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience with sales tools or enablement platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Notion, LMS systems) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with SaaS or product-led environments is helpful, though not required.

Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment

Spellbook uses artificial intelligence responsibly to support administrative and efficiency-focused aspects of our recruitment process. This includes activities such as drafting job descriptions, generating interview questions, note-taking, and supporting sourcing and scheduling workflows. We are committed to upholding principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability in all hiring activities. Spellbook regularly reviews its recruitment practices to mitigate bias and to ensure alignment with applicable laws and evolving best practices.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Spellbook uses industry benchmark data to establish compensation bands for all roles. The salary range listed for a position reflects the expected total wage range for the role—including base salary and on-target commissions, where applicable—and may span multiple career levels. Final compensation is determined during the interview process based on factors such as experience, skills, scope, and role level. In addition to base salary and applicable commissions, total rewards may include equity, health and wellness benefits, and other company programs. Full details will be shared during the interview process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
