About the Opportunity
Mission Cloud is seeking a skilled Sales Enablement Consultant to help accelerate ramp and readiness for a growing team of Account Executives (AEs). This short-term contract role is focused on improving onboarding, aligning GTM teams, and enabling better access to product, services, and relationship knowledge.
You'll collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Professional Services, and Talent Development to improve how new AEs are prepared and empowered-while supporting content strategy and documentation on platforms like Confluence. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in fast-paced sales environments and thrives on building clear, repeatable enablement experiences.
This position is 100% remote. This is a contract role starting at 3 months, with possibly to extend.
Key Responsibilities
AE Onboarding & Ramp
  • Develop, coordinate, and help deliver a fast-track onboarding experience for new Account Executives, focused on Mission Cloud's product and service offerings, GTM motion, and internal tooling.
  • Design or refine day-one through day-180 ramp plans and checklists.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to assess onboarding success and adjust programs based on feedback and outcomes.

Sales & Services Alignment
  • Collaborate with Professional Services & Managed Services leadership to ensure Sales & Sales Engineering deeply understands service capabilities, ideal customer profiles, and hand-off expectations.
  • Create tools or reference materials that help AEs position the right offerings for different customer use cases.
  • Identify gaps in knowledge-sharing between GTM and delivery teams and implement solutions.

Content Management
  • Audit, maintain, and update sales enablement resources in Confluence, ensuring materials are current, easy to navigate, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to streamline content formats and reduce duplication or outdated resources.
  • Create simple playbooks, reference guides, and process documentation where needed.

Stakeholder Communication
  • Build relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery leaders to stay informed of changing priorities and new offerings.
  • Provide regular updates on enablement progress, AE feedback, and content development.

Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, sales training, or related roles within high-growth or technical environments.
  • Demonstrated success in improving sales onboarding, ramp, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quickly in a consulting capacity.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and content management skills-especially in Confluence or similar systems.
  • Comfort aligning cross-functional teams and managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a doer mentality-able to work fast, smart, and collaboratively.

Preferred
  • Experience in cloud services, SaaS, or professional services firms.
  • Familiarity with technical sales and customer lifecycle in a B2B context.
  • Background in instructional design or adult learning a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
