The Sales Director will sell to Fortune 1000 companies, manage sales processes, negotiate terms, document opportunities in CRM, and work cross-functionally to achieve sales goals.
Description
- Sell into fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient and adaptable sales process.
- Develop a deep understanding of your customer's business including industry-specific pains/gains.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial pricing and business terms with F1000's enterprises by selling value and ROI.
- Have strong sense of necessary steps to close business and build champions that speed the process.
- Identify robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities and document in company CRM (SFDC).
- Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory.
- Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency in prediction of your business.
- Work cross team with finesse including marketing, finance, legal, product, and engineering.
- 10+ years closing experience (mix of field selling within mid-market and enterprise).
- CXO level sales experience.
- Experience working for an innovative tech company (Data Related Products).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Enterprise Software Sales.
- Success in selling to the Fortune 1000 winning both new and expand deals.
- Met/exceeded sales goals of 2M+ and operated with an ACV's of $500k+.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, who is driven, adaptable, honest, & responsive.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%+).
- Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills, independently and in partnership with sales development team.
