About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director our Women’s Sportswear division, focused on high-volume and off-price accounts. This role is responsible for driving sales growth across key retailers such as Nordstrom Rack, Burlington, Ross, and TJX. The ideal candidate understands the off-price model, is skilled in working across licensed and owned brands, and has a strong background in margin management, order planning, and customer relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Own the seasonal and annual sales plan for women’s sportswear across off-price, value, and club channels; deliver against volume and profitability targets

  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts; manage assortment presentations, costing negotiations, order execution, and reorders

  • Customer Strategy: Build strong partnerships with buyers by understanding their business model, seasonal goals, and margin expectations; provide product and pricing solutions that meet both sides’ objectives

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Merchandising to ensure customer needs are reflected in the assortment and development calendar

  • Line Planning Support: Provide input on product direction, target costs, and volume opportunities based on retailer requirements and historical sales performance

  • Sales Forecasting & Analysis: Maintain accurate forecasting by style/account; track sell-through, pricing performance, and market trends to inform future buys

  • Presentation & Sell-In: Lead seasonal market meetings, line reviews, and customer presentations; ensure all assets (CADs, samples, costing) are prepared and aligned

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand distribution within the off-price and club space; support growth of underdeveloped or new accounts

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in apparel sales, with a strong focus on off-price, value, or club retail channels

  • Proven success managing accounts such as Burlington, Ross, TJX, Nordstrom Rack, and other off-price/value retailers

  • Deep understanding of margin structures, pack programs, seasonal delivery calendars, and volume dynamics

  • Experience working with both licensed and private brands

  • Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance speed, price, and profitability

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/order entry systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field

Location Notice:
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our current headquarters in Bell, CA. In Q1 of 2026, the company will relocate to its new corporate office in Beverly Hills, CA (90210). Candidates must be comfortable working onsite at both locations.

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).
