About the Role: 

Ceva is looking for a dynamic Sales Director to grow our business in North America. As part of Ceva’s sales team in North America, you will be based in the Bay Area and will be tasked with growing our US Western Region reporting to VP Sales for North America. You will work closely with the FAEs, Business Unit leaders and Marketing to discover new sales opportunities, coordinate customer evaluations, and negotiate contracts. 

Responsibilities:

Prospect for new opportunities while retaining and expanding business with the current customer base.

Develop trusted relationships with various stakeholders such as engineering, marketing, executive management, and purchasing at the target accounts.

Negotiate contracts for Silicon IP and Software licensing.

Work with legal preparing Licensing Contracts.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience with the Semiconductor Industry (design, marketing, sales) is essential.

• Good knowledge base and industry background in some of the following areas: Connectivity, Wireless, Neural Networks, Motion Sensors.

• Proven 10+ year track record in closing business at increasing levels.

• High-energy and self-driven to take ownership of customer relationships, identify issues, and coordinate solutions with customers and Ceva’s R&D/Support organization.

• A collaborative individual with excellent communication skills. 

• Skilled at presenting to a technical and business audience.

• Available to travel frequently within the United States to meet customers.

• Flexibility to work across international time zones (mostly with Israel and Europe) with Ceva’s business units.

• Legal work authorization/EAD for U.S. employment

Advantages:

• Experience in semiconductor/silicon IP Licensing.

• Engineering or marketing experience in the ASIC market.

• Experience in strategic account management.

• Experience in product marketing and/or business development.

• Prior responsibility for complex contract negotiations.   

• Current business relationships with top-tier customers
