The Company
Voltus is the leading platform connecting distributed energy resources to electricity markets, delivering less expensive, more reliable, and more sustainable electricity. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted customer advisor, managing the entire sales lifecycle, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop, propose, and close business opportunities that maximize an asset’s or facility’s operational flexibility to generate cash and unlock bill savings while enhancing grid reliability.

- Continually make us a better company

- Ability to develop, negotiate and close customized deals effectively
- Technology minded, with the ability to explain high-tech info to a variety of audiences
- Time management, prioritization, and the ability to self-motivate
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills
- Dedicated to giving and receiving feedback in all directions for the good of each teammate and the organization
- Top-notch communication - in person, written and presentations
- Experience with tools like PowerPoint, Salesforce, Google Suite
Compensation
- $110,000 base salary
- $40,000 - $125,000 additional variable OTE compensation
- Uncapped commissions w/residual payments
- Complete benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, flexible PTO and monthly phone & internet stipend
Please note that at this time, we do not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires. Voltus teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location (in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description).
Additionally, while Voltus is an all-remote workplace, we have limitations on where employees are able to work for regulatory and security reasons. We expect that Voltans are working primarily from their home country. Working while traveling to other countries must be approved as per our Global Remote Travel Policy.
