Position Summary:
The Director of South Florida Business Development position is a key role primarily responsible for generating direct Grand Caravan Charter Sales, in addition to generating qualified leads for the SVP around the flyExclusive Fractional Ownership programs and Jet Club Programs. The primary goal of the incumbent is to grow new sales channels through proactively curating and identifying opportunities to grow and promote flyExclusive programs, directly contributing to incremental revenue growth both quarterly and annually. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize basic product and aviation knowledge during in-person prospecting engagement to secure Grand Caravan Charter Sales, and program leads for the SVP
  • Utilize scalable referral programs to targeted channels and travel partners to enhance Grand Caravan fleet and program visibility and client acquisition
  • Plan, coordinate, and represent the brand at South Florida HNW/UHNY focused events, showcases, and private client gatherings to generate leads and strengthen relationships
  • Achieve, track and report the performance of each strategic relationship QOQ and YOY, including but not limited to quantifying lead generation, and the closed/won sales



Skills and Abilities:     

  • Highly social within the South Florida market, comfortable at elite events and building rapport with high-net-worth individuals
  • Being a self-starter who is highly motivated with strong initiative 
  • Interpersonal skills with an emphasis on effective communication skills in both oral and written forms 
  • Resiliency under pressure of sales environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through phone, email, and personal correspondence  
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites   
  • Proficient critical thinking and presentation skills  
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively  

Work environment 

  • 50% travel and field, 50% in home office
  • Exposure to loud noises including airplane machinery and jet engines. 

Physical demands 

  • Ability to see and hear clearly 
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English clearly 
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods 
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 pounds

Qualifications

Required education and experience 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of business development, ideally in private aviation, luxury travel, or high-end hospitality.
  • Proven track record of success in one-to-one relationship building
  • Fluent in English & Spanish (additional languages a plus)
