ClickTime is a recognized leader in time management software, serving thousands of enterprises, nonprofits, and governments worldwide. From bootstrapped beginnings to sustained profitability—all without venture capital funding—ClickTime has tracked over $210 billion worth of employee time, helping customers improve workforce efficiency, profitability, and resource planning. While headquartered in San Francisco, ClickTime’s team works remotely across the United States.

About the Role

ClickTime helps companies manage their most precious asset: Their team’s time. The mission sells well, as evidenced by our historically strong inbound interest, our sales team’s high close rates, and ClickTime’s success over 26 years. Building our outbound machine is the next chapter in ClickTime’s growth.

As a Sales Development Representative, your job is to book meetings for our Account Executives. You'll work through a defined call list every day, including prospects who work in finance and operations, using structured messaging and clear targets. High-volume outreach — calls, email, and LinkedIn — is the core of the role.

High activity is the expectation, not the exception. The people who succeed here are energized by a full day of outreach, not worn down by it.

If you have a proven track record in outbound and are motivated by performance-based earnings, let's talk.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls daily, working through a defined call list
  • Run structured email and LinkedIn outreach in parallel with calling
  • Qualify prospects against clear criteria; book meetings for Account Executives
  • Log activity and outcomes in CRM
  • Hit weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets

Qualifications

  • Proven outbound track record — you've done this before and have the numbers to show it
  • Clear, direct communicator
  • Resilient — you treat a string of no's as part of the process, not a reason to slow down
  • Driven by performance-based earnings
  • Background in competitive sports or high-pressure environments a plus

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
