In this role, you will be responsible for jumpstarting your sales career by supporting and learning from senior professionals while contributing to vertical growth in the Media & Entertainment sector. You will assist in owning deals end-to-end, build expertise in motion capture (mocap) technology, and drive revenue contributions under the guidance of the Senior Director of Sales and experienced representatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Revenue Generation: Assist in hitting team quotas by contributing to full-cycle deals; help prospect, qualify, demo, and negotiate under senior guidance.
  • Manage Pipeline: Maintain a healthy Salesforce pipeline by entering activities, updating stages, and shadowing deal reviews to learn forecasting.
  • Generate Net-New Business: Execute guided outbound prospecting via LinkedIn and ZoomInfo, research target accounts like university labs and film houses, and network at industry events.
  • Execute Vertical Strategy: Research industry trends and competitors (e.g., identifying gaps in the market) and support the execution of marketing campaigns for university departments.
  • Relationship Building: Develop entry-level customer connections by assisting in calls and follow-ups, and collaborate with Technical Account Managers on product demos.
  • Performance Tracking: Produce monthly self-reviews regarding wins and challenges, and monitor personal metrics like lead conversion and activity volume.
  • Process Compliance: Complete assigned training (Salesforce certifications and product deep-dives) and adhere to export compliance checks for all deals.

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong desire to learn fast and execute sales basics flawlessly in a high-tech environment.
  • Ability to hit outbound activity targets (emails/calls) consistently.
  • High level of organization for maintaining accurate data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborative mindset to work alongside Sales Ops and Technical teams.
  • Preferred: Previous experience or internships in a sales, marketing, or Media & Entertainment environment.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator/ZoomInfo).

Physical Requirements: (daily)

  • Ability to sit or stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
  • Frequent use of a computer and phone for communication.
